How do you deal with tilt?

You can’t control the source of your tilt most times. And if you just keep distracting yourself or walking away, it’s better than blowing up or feeding the fire, but it doesn’t really stop the tilt from happening again.

Right now I’m writing out my thoughts, keeping them from straying back there, so I guess that’s back to Strategy #1. Hmmm.

To stop the tilt, we need to understand tilt. Like fire, it has 3 ingredients – a spark , fuel and oxygen. You can try to avoid unnecessary sparks, but they’re a part of life. Fuel, that’s keeping yourself well-rested, hydrated, and maintain good relations with people. Try to have a cheerful outlook on life. Oxygen, that’s discipline. Don’t feed the fire – walk away and snuff it out.
